Omissions in the use of Modals
Omissions in the use of Modals: The verbs can, could, may, might, will, would, shall, should, must and ought are called modal vers or modals.
A) Use the base form of the verb after a modal : Don’t use “to” or the full infinitive verb “to”.
B) Usage of May/ Might : to express or to seek permission, to express possibility or to express a wish.
C) With the second and third persons, will is used : to express simple future , or to express an invitation or request.
